Ella is an artist that lives in St. Louis, MO. Ella has designed work for a diverse array of clients, such as: American Girl, The Kraft-Heinze Company, New Amsterdam Vodka, Nabisco, the SAG Awards, Spoonflower and Trident.
While Ella enjoys all creative projects, she is especially passionate about using her design skills to positively impact her city. Ella has designed work for the following non-profit organizations: Healthworks!, LaunchCodeSTL, St. Louis County Library, The Women's Safe House for Domestic Violence, and YES Teens. She has also designed exhibits for the Missouri History Museum, Missouri Botanical Gardens and the Saint Louis Science Center.
In addition to design work, Ella teaches college design classes and enjoys mentoring her students. Ella was the 2022 recipient of the "Golden Apple" awards and was praised for her ability to create a safe and creative space for students to explore and learn. In addition, Ella was the recipient of the Regional Arts Commission's 2023 grant that supports artists that are making a difference in their community. Ella believes in the power of art to transform, heal and impact others.
During her free time, Ella enjoys photography, vintage shopping and and exploring the city. She comes from a big Irish family and loves spending time with her 7-year-old son Leo Romeo. Ella also has 6 nephews, all under the age of 9. She has become the expert on important topics such as little league sports, how to get slime out of one's hair, and mastering the art of the whoopee cushion.
